RICK SCHNUR, DMD
Dr. Schnur was always interested in science and medicine and chose to pursue dentistry because there was more opportunity to provide patient-centered private-practice care without as much influence from large hospitals or insurance corporations. He and his team have worked hard to have systems in place that allow Florida Smile Design to consistently and predictably help patients achieve their dental treatment goals. Dr. Schnur feels quite fortunate to work with “The Best Team in All of Dentistry”. Come visit us and let his team take very good care of you too!
Dr. Schnur earned his DMD at the University of Florida and completed a General Practice Residency at the VA Hospital in Gainesville. He also holds a State of Florida Sedation certificate. Dr. Schnur is very active with local dental study groups, numerous hours of continuing education, and is continually adding the newest technology to his practice.
Having opened his practice in 2001, Dr. Schnur has been providing dental care in Parrish, Florida longer than anyone else. GRANT HODGES, DDS
Dr. Hodges grew up in the Tampa Bay area and played baseball through the collegiate level. From this he developed a love for working with his hands, problem solving, and teamwork. When considering a career to pursue he began to visit with Florida Smile Design in 2016 and saw how the same things he loved in baseball applied to Dentistry. Dr. Hodges was inspired by how dentistry offered a way to change individuals’ lives for the better and how a unified dental team can be the catalyst for that change.
Dr. Hodges went on to earn his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University and his dental degree at West Virginia University. He chose to join Florida Smile Design because he felt that they had the team and culture in place to change their patients’ lives.
Dr. Hodges, his wife, and their children are excited to grow along with the flourishing Parrish communities and lay down roots. He will be providing dental care with the same level of care and personal touch that many of your neighbors have grown to love as they have found a dental home with Florida Smile Design.
